Our Journey

It was very frustrating building websites for clients. We wanted to give up! The problem wasn't us. It was WordPress and the learning curve our clients had to experience when fixing bugs.

This left us in a very dissatisfying situation. 

We didn't offer any monthly maintenance packages for our clients at that time, but we found ourselves doing website maintenance and fixing bugs for free. 

Although this was a noble gesture, it was taking up too much time. We knew we needed another way to solve maintenance issues with WordPress. So, in June of 2019, we set out to finally solve the problem for both our clients and ourselves.

What did we do?

Instead of wasting time trying to solve problems on an open-source platform, we wanted to step it up a notch. Doing so would help us scale our business more efficiently. It would also allow us to offer a more premium and counterintuitive service to our clients. 

We decided to launch our real estate website builder with marketing automation tools!

The vacation rental industry is where we got our start. We love the passion and energy of the industry, and we love how technology is allowing people the ability to offer travel stays and accommodation. 

February of 2019 is when we officially launched our brand marketing company, bnb AMPLIFY. This was only five months before deciding to launch our website builder. We wanted to help vacation rental owners, property managers, and boutique hotels build a brand for their businesses. This would help them eliminate their dependency on OTA platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo.

It would take ten long months to develop the brand and build the framework, systems, and processes for our new venture. We knew we had a program that worked and a platform that was needed in the vacation rental marketplace. On April 24, 2020, we launched our new website bnb SiteBuilder to the public. 

bnb SiteBuilder would come packed with features like unlimited pages, free SSL certificate, and AWS (Amazon Cloud) hosting. Our marketing automation platform and CRM would offer a Live Pro Dialer, Email Marketing Automation, 2-Way Text Messaging, and Ringless Voicemail.

Clients would get a world-class platforms built on a solid foundation. Our developers are committed to excellence and we wanted to offer the best product at an affordable cost. 

We decided to let a small number of clients work with us inside of bnb SiteBuilder. This was done for two reasons;

(1.) work out any unnecessary platform bugs and issues before full rollout

(2.) work closely with clients on getting their brands developed and direct booking websites launched. 

COVID brought many changes to us all. More than ever Airbnb Superhosts were coming to work with us! This was partially due to the changing of Airbnb's guest policies during the COVID pandemic. Airbnb Superhosts were starting to see the huge benefits of building an authoritative brand for their business, and they needed the right platform with the right systems in place to be successful.

Also, during the COVID pandemic we would experience great loss. Our Co-founder, Judah Swagerty, would endure the deaths of both grandmothers, uncle, and his beloved mother from this deadly illness. It was during his time of grief that Judah and Chris finally decided to expand and help as many real estate professionals as possible. Their passion for their work and compassion for life would fuel the drive.
